Configure your Computer

Configure your computer for remote access so that you can take complete control of your computer over the internet.

Computer Name
Computer Name is a unique name defined for your computer, in your RemotePC account, to identify it for remote access.

Personal Key
Personal Key is a password set by you and acts as your computer's unique access code. It is stored only on your machine and not on the RemotePC servers.

To configure your computer for Always-ON Remote Access,

  1. Log in to your RemotePC account with your registered email address and password. 
    Note: If you do not have an existing account, sign up for a RemotePC account.
  2. On the RemotePC homescreen, click Configure Now!

  3. Enter Computer Name and Personal Key for your computer.
  4. Click Enable Now!

You have configured your computer for remote access and you can connect to it using the RemotePC application from another computer or mobile device.

To remove configured computers, 

  1. Log in to your RemotePC account.
  2. Go to Always-ON Remote Access tab.
  3. Right click on the computer name and click Remove.


  4. Click Yes in the confirmation window.
Note: You can only remove the computers that are online or offline.
